I know everyone feels it #themorningstruggle but this AM I especially did. I had to have an extra large coffee just to get me going. Now that the coffee is flowing I can feel the day will be a successful. I originally started this blog for a media class I took over the summer at Fordham University, but after loving blogging so much I am going to continue to keep blogging. I have changed the name from bi-coastal summer living 2014 to bi-coastal blonde, something I feel is more me, considering I am a blonde. So this summer is almost over and this is making me sad as this will be my last year of college :( and that means I have to figure out my career and life after. To do this I am going to read as much as possible and make the most of this upcoming year. I saw some books at the airport on my trip back from Los Angeles recently and have started reading them, so far so good. I would like to recommend these books to EVERYONE. The books are below.
The first is
Think Like a Freak: The Authors of Freakonomics Offer to Retrain Your Brain written by Steven D Levvitt and Stephen J. Dubner. The release of
Think Like a Freak was May 12th, 2014 and has so far been rated as a best selling book. Below is the cover.
The other book I started reading is called The Power of Habit: Why we do what we do in life and in business. Written by Charles Duhigg. This one I have so far liked it discusses a lot on how to form and train habits. I hope that I can train my own personal habits and life, something I think that anyone can improve. It was also a top book on the New York Times Bestsellers of 2014 and named one of the best books of the year by The Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. Below is the cover.
Oh and you can probably find them anywhere they sell books.
Xo,
Melody
